Hong Kong MTR Contract 1201

Tung Chung West Station and Tunnels

TCW - Image1.png
Bouygues-Dragages (1201) Joint Venture engages A-Champ as their Electromagnetic Compatibility Consultant to deliver the project.

The Tung Chung West Station, located to the west of the existing Yat Tung Estate, will serve existing residents and potential housing developments nearby, including in the Tung Chung New Town Extension (West) planning areas.
The operational railway environment requires careful consideration with regard to the design of Building Services (BS) Engineering Works and selection of the equipment. To ensure that electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) be successfully achieved between the equipment and sub-systems within the Contract 1201 Works boundary and between nearby installations by others, it is essential for a systematic EMC management process to be in place throughout the project implementation.
